Bohemians extend their lead

Bohemians moved eight points clear at the top of the eircom League Premier Division with a 2-0 win over Drogheda at O2 Park this afternoon.

Stephen Caffrey broke the deadlock as late as the 71st minute, before Derek Coughlan sealed victory with Boh's second in the last minute of the game.

Elsewhere Bray Wanderers and Shamrock Rovers played out a 1-1 draw. Trevor Molloy put Rovers ahead with a 16th minute strike but Eamonn Zayed grabbed a late equaliser for the home side in the eighth minute of extra time.

There was action on the First Division with Dundalk defeating Dublin 4-2, while Limerick and Kildare played out a nil all draw.
