Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking today announced an expansion of its niche business internationally with the establishment of of a property business in the United States.

The new team will develop a niche in the US Real Estate financing market.

All major market sectors will be covered including mixed use, office, residential and retail. The Bank's Global Property Finance team will both participate in syndicated transactions and direct lending relationships with existing players in the market.

Matthew Galligan has been appointed as Managing Director of the new team. Mr Gilligan has previous experience in the US as vice-president of DebtX, the Debt Exchange.
