Bank of Ireland has raised €2 billion through a bond issue which it said was twice oversubscribed.
The bank said the bond has been secured against its Irish mortgages and been sold to 210 investors from 20 countries.
The bond is priced at 0.06 points above the interest rate for an average 10-year maturity bond.
The issue is part of a fundraising programme from which the Bank plans to raise up to €10 billion over the next four to five years.
