Racing:Jim Bolger strengthened his grip on the colts' Classics when Creachadoir romped home in the Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trial Stakes at the Dublin track.

He is unlikely to join his stablemate Teofilo, ante-post favourite for the Stan James 2000 Guineas, at Newmarket but could still bid for Classic honours himself.

The son of King's Best made virtually all the running in this Group Three event as he was soon pushed into the lead on the rail by Kevin Manning with Aidan O'Brien's Admiralofthefleet bustling him along.

The two led the field turning for home where Creachadoir (12-1) kicked clear of the opposition to win by three and a half lengths. Confuchias was second with Summit Surge third.

Bolger said: "He had a touch of shins last year and he was a bit stubborn. I missed the boat with him as the ground had gone so we decided to leave him.

"He probably shouldn't have run at the Curragh (last month) with the ground but I was anxious to get a run into him because he's a proper horse.

"It will be a toss up between the Irish Guineas and French Derby for him."

Admiralofthefleet was well beaten in seventh and William Hill have pushed him out to 40-1 from 33s for the 2000 Guineas.

Arch Swing, trained by John Oxx, just kept her stablemate Four Sins at bay to maintain her unbeaten record in the Dimitrova 1000 Guineas Trial.

Four Sins set the pace with Arch Swing close up in third place in the early stages.

The evens favourite got a dream run up the inside under Mick Kinane and swept into the lead about a furlong out, but Four Sins battled back for Fran Berry and only failed by a short head to get back up. Theann, representing O'Brien, was third.

William Hill cut Arch Swing to 8-1 from 11-1 for the Stan James 1000 Guineas at Newmarket while totesport left her unchanged at 10-1.

Ladbrokes also left Arch Swing unchanged at 10-1 and spokesman David Williams said: "She did it nicely enough but there was no appetite to cut her odds for Newmarket at Head Office.

"Support for John Oxx's filly has been brisk enough since the race but certainly not frenzied."

Totesport trimmed Theann to 20-1 from 33s for the 1000 and make Four Sins 25-1 from 40s for the Vodafone Oaks.

Oxx said: "I wanted to get a run into her as she only had two runs last year. She's a big, masculine filly who takes a lot of work. It would have been nice to see her win easier but she came on from her first to second run last year and hopefully she will improve for that again.

"Mick said the ground felt slow on her although it's lovely ground but she has matured and maybe she needs it good to firm now.

"I need a good run for the next four weeks (before Newmarket) and she needs to improve."

Of the runner-up, Oxx added: "She may be a possible for the Cheshire Oaks."

O'Brien was out of luck in the two trials but could have a Classic prospect in All My Loving, who made a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden.

Sent off a 13-2 chance, the Seamus Heffernan-ridden filly accounted for Akua'ba by three-quarters of a length.

The full sister to 2003 Irish 1000 Guineas winner Yesterday and the top-class Quarter Moon was cut to 16-1 from 33-1 by VC Bet for the Vodafone Oaks.
