Last night's sailing of the high-speed ferry from Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead was delayed by almost an hour after Stena Sealink's head office in Ashford, Kent, received a bomb warning from an anonymous caller.
The HSS Stena Explorer was 20 minutes out of Dun Laoghaire when it was recalled to port, where Garda search teams carried out a search of the ferry. Nothing was found, and the ferry resumed its journey to Holyhead.
