Seven occupants of a house in east Belfast escaped injury after an explosive device was thrown at their house in an overnight attack last night.

A man, woman and five children aged seven to 14 were in the house in the Glenlea Park area of the city at around 12.30 a.m., and the device caused extensive damage to the front door of the house

It is believed the attack is connected to the latest loyalist feud in the area.
