A THREE-year-old boy who fell to his death off a dumper truck will be buried tomorrow.

Prayers were offered at Masses in Cork yesterday for Stephen O'Leary, of Inchirahilly, Crookstown, who died shortly before 12.30pm on Saturday. The boy was a passenger on the dumper truck when he fell, sustaining serious injuries. He was taken to Cork University Hospital where he died.

Local parish priest Fr Teddy O'Sullivan said: "It is very, very sad. He was just a little boy out with his dad. The family will need time and space to come to terms with this." Macroom-based Labour councillor Martin Coughlan said Stephen's death was a "devastating blow" for his family. He will be laid to rest after noon Mass tomorrow at Kilmurry Parish Church.
