A 15-year-old boy is due to appear in court in Northern Ireland today charged with the rape of an elderly woman in Newtownards in March.
The teenager was charged by detectives from the PSNI specialist rape crime unit with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The PSNI said the charges related to the serious sexual assault of an elderly woman in the Upper Greenwell Street area of Newtownards on Sunday March 13th.
He is due to appear in Ards Magistrates court today in relation to the charges.
