Racing:There will be a new sponsor of the Irish Guineas Festival next year after Boylesports decided to end their association with the meeting.
Mark Nunan, head of marketing for Boylesports, said: "The Irish Guineas Festival has been an excellent sponsorship for us and we would like to thank the Curragh for their help over the last six years.
"However, due to a change in our strategic marketing plans for 2010 and beyond, we have made the decision not to renew the contract."
He added: "We will continue to look at opportunities in horse racing and will not rule out further involvement with the Curragh in the future."
Evan Arkwright, commercial manager of the Curragh, added: "We have enjoyed a very good working partnership with Boylesports and we are sad to see them go, but we hope we can work with them again in the near future.
"We are now in the process to source a new sponsor who will help us further grow and enhance the event."
