Tommy Breheny has been appointed caretaker manager of the Sligo senior footballers.
It is not believed, however, that the former St Mary’s boss is in the running for the post vacated by the sacked Dom Corrigan.
Corrigan became the first fallen manager of 2006 when he was given the kiss-off by the Sligo County Board on Valentine’s Day.
Breheny, who led Mary's to a county SFC title in 2002, served as a selector under Corrigan last January but was forced to step down later in the season due to work and family commitments.

The Yeat’s county board are expected to confirm their new manager in the coming days, with Sligo IT boss Anthony Brennan tipped for the nod.
