Kilkenny hurler Eddie Brennan and Kerry footballer Colm Gooch Cooper have won the Opel Gaelic Player of the Month Awards for September.
Both men played crucial roles for their respective teams as Kilkenny and Kerry retained their All-Ireland titles.
Brennan's man of the match winning performance in the All-Ireland hurling final against Limerick helped the Cats to their 30th All Ireland title.
Cooper was in fantastic form in the All-Ireland football final against arch rivals Cork, scoring a superb 1-5 and helping Kerry retain the Sam Maguire for the first time since 1986.
Dessie Farrell, chief Executive of the GPA, said delivering a good display in an All-Ireland final is a major ambition for all players and he believed both Brennan and Cooper achieved that aim last month.
