The 20th Bangor bridge congress will take place in the Central Hall, North Down, and Ards Institute, Castle Park Road, from July 28th to 30th. Open pairs and the mixed pairs will be played on Friday (7.45 p.m.). Three two-session pairs championships - major, intermediate, and junior - will be run on Saturday (1.30 p.m.) and the two-session Swiss teams on Sunday (1 p.m.).

Special prizes will be awarded to the best intermediates and juniors in both the mixed pairs and the teams, and also to the best non-experts in the teams. Sandie Millership, 80 Knightsbridge Court, Bangor BT19 6FW, Co Down, will accept entries, and supply details about hotel and guesthouse accommodation.
