The Drogheda, and District Bridge Congress fund of over £6,000, will take place in the Westcourt Hotel from October 5th to 7th.

The mixed, and novice pairs will be played over one session on Friday (7.45 p.m.).

The following two-session pairs tournaments will be decided on Saturday (1 p.m.) - Major, confined (open to players with less than 30 national points), Intermediate A, and Intermediate B. The Major, A, and B teams will start at noon and finish before 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Open pairs will be run at 7.45 p.m. on Friday, 1.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2.p.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Sunday.

Entertainment will be provided by the Glen Miller Legacy 14-piece swing orchestra at close of play on Saturday.
