The Contract Bridge Association of Ireland's national women's (McMenamin Bowl) and men's (Geraldine Trophy) major team championships will be decided over three sessions in the Templeogue Centre, Dublin, on October 14th-15th. The CBAI will run an intermediate, and novice congress in the Montague Hotel, Portlaoise, from October 20th to 22nd. Programme - gala open pairs on Friday (7.30 p.m.) and open pairs twice daily thereafter; Saturday (1.30 p.m), three two-session pairs championships - inter A (New Ireland Trophy), inter B (Kervick Trophy) and novice (Waterford Crystal Trophy); Sunday (1 p.m.), extended session of teams.
