A British man whose wife and infant daughter were found shot dead in their US home, has been arrested.
Neil Entwistle was arrested by British authorities, Emily LaGrassa, spokesman for the Middlesex District Attorney's office confirmed today. "He is in police custody in England at this time," Ms Lagrassa said.
Rachel Entwistle (27) and nine-month-old Lillian, were found shot to death in a bed in their home in Hopkinton on January 22nd, killed by a small-calibre bullet.
Authorities said Mr Entwistle left the US and returned to his native England around the time of the shootings.
The Home Office said that US authorities have issued a provisional request for his extradition.
Police searched their home the day before the bodies were discovered, but did not see anything wrong, authorities said.
Mr Entwistle was questioned by authorities at the US Embassy in London in the days after the shooting. Rachel Entwistle and her daughter were laid to rest together in a wooden coffin on February 1st at a service attended by hundreds of mourners, but not Mr Entwistle.
