Eleven British planespotters have had their convictions quashed on appeal in a Greek court.
Six of the Britons had been given three-year prison sentences after being found guilty of spying last year but returned to the UK pending their appeal.
Five other Britons who were given suspended sentences after being convicted of aiding and abetting were also acquitted.
The planespotters hugged each other when the result was read out at the court in Kalamata, Greece.

They admitted visiting a series of air bases, and many said they had taken notes, but all denied spying. They insisted they were innocently pursuing their hobby and had official permission to be at the bases on the open days.
