Police have charged eight men with conspiracy to murder and other terrorism charges two weeks after they were captured in raids that followed alerts in the United States and arrests in Pakistan.
A ninth suspect was charged with possessing a weapon, police said in a statement this afternoon.
Four others had earlier been released or charged with offences not linked to terrorism.
Britain has said little about the men it arrested, but US officials have said they include at least one senior figure in Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network.
