Four men, age between 29 and 48, remain in custody under the Terrorism Act after the raid in Finsbury Park, north London, on Monday morning.
Anti-terrorist detectives and more than 100 officers took park in the raid in which the six North Africans and a 22-year-old Eastern European were arrested.
Scotland Yard discovered a stun gun, an imitation weapon which fires blanks and a CS gas canister during the search. Large numbers of passports, identity cards and credit cards were also found.
Senior officers said they were looking for specific individuals and the raid was linked to the discovery of the deadly poison ricin at a flat in nearby Wood Green on January 5th. No chemical substances were found at the mosque.
