The Brittany Ferries sailing between Cork to Roscoff has been cancelled for the second weekend in a row due to technical difficulties with the Pont Avenship.
More than 4,000 holidaymakers face disruption due to the cancellation.
According to the company, a cracked sea valve had allowed water into the engine room. The €165 million ferry is berthed in Plymouth awaiting repairs.
Those scheduled to sail this weekend from Ireland should contact the company's Cork office on 021-4277801. The company hopes to have the vessel back in service next week.
