Drinks maker Britvic toasted better-than-expected profits today despite the lingering impact of a wet summer.
The business grew underlying profits 9 per cent to £80 million in the year to September 30th - ahead of consensus forecasts - although the soft drinks market fell 2.6 per cent due to the poor weather.
The bad weather has also dampened trading since September, but Britvic added the market had shown "modest growth" in recent weeks.
