Brute force: Image of West Sumatra bull race wins World Press Photo Contest award

Chen Wei Seng of Malaysia has won the first prize in the sports action single category of the World Press Photo Contest 2013 with this image of a jockey's relief and joy at the end of a dangerous run across rice fields. The photograph was taken on February 12th last year, during the Pacu Jawi bull race in Batu Sangkar, West Sumatra.
