An appeal for blood donations from people with rhesus negative type blood, especially type A negative or O negative, has been made by the Blood Transfusion Service Board.
Pelican House in Dublin will be open to all donors from 9.30 a.m. to 8.15 p.m. from Monday to Thursday each week. A special donation clinic will be open today from 9.30 a.m. to 8.15 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
