Tomorrow's Budget should be used to help people with disabilities, the Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI) has said.

The organisation pointed out that a recent report published by the Department of Health recommended spending £12 million on people with physical and sensory disabilities. The chief executive of the DFI, Mr Roger Acton, said the Budget was "the present Government's last chance to show its commitment to people who have not yet been able to share in the benefits of this booming economy".
