Bangkok - Burma's government in exile yesterday marked the 10th anniversary of its formation by vowing to push for the "termination" of the junta which it accused of running the country into the ground.
The National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma condemned the military regime which it said it would continue to fight by harnessing the support of resistance forces in Burma and abroad.
The Washington-based movement was formed in December 1990 by opposition MPs who were forced to flee the country after the junta refused to recognise their landslide victory in the 1990 elections.
