Bujumbura - The army in Burundi has launched a major operation to dislodge rebels from their stronghold in Tenga, northeast of the capital, army spokesman, Colonel Augustin Nzabampema, said.
The operation in the Tenga forest "follows repeated rebel incursions in the outskirts of the capital," Col Nzabampema said.
