A prominent businessman who ran two Paul Costelloe fashion shops has been found dead in his garage in Dungannon, Co Tyrone. Mr Robert Watterson (39) had been reported missing on Monday by his wife, Elaine, with whom he ran the Paul Costelloe factory store in Dungannon and another outlet in Chester, England.

His body was discovered in his car on Wednesday in the garage of his home at Killyman Road, Dungannon. He is believed to have been overcome by exhaust fumes. Foul play is not suspected.

Mr Watterson, a father of two, recently sold a Dungannon hotel for a reported sum over £1 million. The Wattersons opened the Paul Costelloe factory outlet in the grounds of the hotel in 1994 and then started The second shop a year later.
