England beat Australia by 225 runs in the fifth and final Ashes cricket Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground today.
Veteran paceman Andy Caddick spearheaded England to victory with bowling figures 7-94.
Australia, who clinched the series at the third Perth test, fell to their first test defeat at home in four years since England won the 1998 Boxing Day Test in Melbourne by 12 runs.
The win was a rare triumph for England over Australia and only their third in the past 15 Tests.
