Officers from Revenue's Customs Service and Gardai from Ashbourne and the Garda National Drugs Unit seized 107kgs of Cannabis with an estimated street value of €500,000 last night.
A man with an address in Galway was arrested and taken to Ashbourne Garda station for questioning.
The 55Kgs of cannabis resin and 52Kgs of herbal cannabis originated in Holland and arrived in Dublin Port by ferry. The drugs were concealed on a container amongst stationary.
The man was arrested when he arrived in a van to collect the pallet in Ashbourne, Co Meath.
