An improvised bomb was defused after being found under a car parked outside a house at Hartfield Square in Portadown, Co Armagh, today.
Security forces were called to the scene at around 4 a.m. after a suspicious object was found under a vehicle parked in the driveway of the house.
Meanwhile, a man is being treated in hospital for neck injuries he sustained when he was slashed with a broken bottle after chased a number of people he saw acting suspiciously beside his car outside his home in Balloo, outside Bangor, Co Down.
