The new stores will be in Drogheda, Sligo, Letterkenny, Maynooth, Ballincollig, Ashbourne, and Clonmel, with two stores in Limerick.
The retailer said the expansion would cost €2 million, and that refurbishment of existing stores would cost €300,000.
The Carphone Warehouse opened its first store in Ireland on Dublin's Grafton Street in 1997 and now has 35 stores throughout Ireland employing 250 people.
