Cavan football boss Tommy Carr has survived a motion of no confidence after club delegates voted 30-23 to defeat the motion in a secret ballot tonight.
The former Dublin boss had been originally asked to step down from the position by the executive of the Cavan County Board, but Carr’s insistence that he had the support of the players forced a change of mind.
Club delegates went ahead and proposed a motion of no confidence, which was defeated tonight on a 30-23 vote, with one spoiled vote and one abstention.
