Raiders have escaped with a substantial amount of cash following a robbery at the Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre at Cornelscourt yesterday evening.

Shortly after 4pm a security employee was accosted by two men in the car park and forced at gunpoint to open a number of ATMs where the cash was removed.

The security man was then bound and gagged and the two raiders made their escape.

A short time later the man was able to free himself and raise the alarm.
