Chelsea managing director Colin Hutchinson has today announced he will quit at the end of the season after 15 years at Stamford Bridge.

Hutchinson has decided to leave the Premiership club for personal reasons and will pursue a fresh challenge after taking a break from football.

"I am leaving at the end of the season," he told the Daily Mail. "There is plenty of time left for goodbyes though and I'm intent on playing my part in ensuring that this is a very good season for Chelsea".

Hutchinson played a key role in recruiting current Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri, as well as his predecessors, Gianluca Vialli and Ruud Gullit.
