Racing: Cheltenham will offer a record £5million in prize money - including £3million at the Festival meeting this season.
An increase of 10 per cent on the total for the last campaign has been achieved with ticket sales for the track opening on Friday.
A new ticket covering Thursday and Friday at the Festival will be on sale, but crowd capacity will be limited to 65,000 on Gold Cup day - a reduction of 2,000 on last season's attendance.
Cheltenham kick off their season with the Martin Pipe Day on October 24th, when each race will be named to reflect the trainer's extraordinary achievement of sending out 4,182 winners, including 34 at The Festival.
