Moscow - Swiss prosecutors investigating a Kremlin money-laundering scandal have set former Russian prime minister Mr Viktor Chernomyrdin as one of their prime targets, a report said yesterday.
The Novaya Gazeta newspaper quoted an undisclosed Swiss police official as saying that Mr Chernomyrdin may have received millions of dollars from a company linked to Mabetex, which was awarded deals to refurbish the Kremlin and other government buildings.
The source said that charges will also be filed today in Geneva against former President Boris Yeltsin's daughter Ms Tatyana Dyachenko.
