At least eight Catholic children were injured last night during a sectarian stoning attack on their school bus in north Belfast. It was the latest of a recent series of rival attacks in the area.
The RUC said the children, from Our Lady of Mercy School, were treated for cuts caused by flying glass from shattered windows. The bus was stoned at a road junction near the secondary school. Chief Insp Diane Crockard appealed for help in stopping the attacks.
