Bandar Seri - China and Mexico held "very constructive" trade talks on Tuesday, but failed to resolve anti-dumping issues blocking a World Trade Organisation (WTO) deal, Mr Hermino Blanco said.

"The only issue that is left is anti-dumping," Mr Blanco, the Mexican Minister of Trade and Industrial Development, said after 90 minutes of talks with the Chinese Foreign Trade Minister, Mr Shi Guangsheng.

The Minister did not elaborate on the dumping issue, but industry in Mexico and in many of China's other trading partners is wary of a flood of cheap Chinese steel and textile imports, among other goods.
