Residents are continuing their vigil outside the site where the 140-year Presbyterian church at Tritonville Road, Sandymount, Dublin, was demolished on Wednesday.
They have maintained the vigil for the past fortnight in protest at the destruction of the church, which they say was of architectural importance. The residents and a number of politicians have accused the owners, the Presbyterian Residential Trust, of arrogance and vandalism in demolishing the church. An Taisce said a Book of Regret had been opened.
