CIVIL service "privilege days", which closed some Government Departments and offices on Tuesday, will be reviewed, Ms Avril Doyle has promised.
The Minister for Public Service said she shared the concern of those critical of the Public Service. She would revise the concept of privilege holidays to ensure the public received a continuous "quality" service.
Following similar criticism last year, she had reviewed opening times at Christmas and, Easter and the placing of adverts in the national newspapers detailing holiday arrangements.
