THE husband of a missing Co Clare woman, Mrs Mary Maguire, appeared before Ennis District Court yesterday on firearms charges. Mr John Maguire (61), of Ballykilty, Quin, pleaded not guilty to four separate charges and was remanded in custody to Ennis Garda station, with consent to bail, until June 20th.
Mr Maguire was charged with having in his possession two silencers and one stun gun. He was further charged with possession of explosive substances and ammunition at his home on June 15th, 1997.
