While Phil Mickelson has taken up the challenge to share an early third round Masters lead with Chris DiMarco, Ireland’s Darren Clarke continues to move up the leaderboard.
Mickelson is currently two-under for his round after six holes and joins DiMarco on 10-under par. Both DiMarco, the overnight leader, and his playing partner in the final group Tiger Woods are level par for their rounds after six holes.
Darren Clarke’s challenge show no signs of abating as the Tyroneman reached the turn in three-under 33. The 32-year-old is currently eight-under and shares fourth place with Argentina’s Angel Cabrera
His fellow countryman Padraig Harrington was unable to capitalise on yesterday’s three-under par 69. The Dubliner completed his third round in level par 72 and is currently tied for 33rd.
