Ireland U20 v England U20:Allen Clarke has made three changes to the Ireland under-20s side ahead of their must win the IRB Junior World Championship game against England in Rosario, Argentina, on Wednesday.
Noel Reid’s selection at fullback means Darren Hudson misses out and Andrew Conway moved to the right wing.
Another backline adjustment sees Conway’s Blackrock club-mate Brendan Macken start at outside centre in place of Eoin Griffin.
In the pack, UCD lock Ben Marshall makes way for Cork Con’s Brian Hayes.
Both Griffin and Marshall are on the bench.
Clarke’s side were pipped 25-22 by France in their opening game, despite mounting a creditable comeback through the boot of outhalf James McKinney and wing Simon Zeb’s try.
England’s bonus-point win over Argentina, however, means a win at the Estadio El Coloso del Parque is all the more important ahead of a final pool meeting with the hosts on Sunday.
