Little Rock - A federal judge here yesterday cited President Clinton for civil contempt of court for his testimony in the Paula Jones case, the court said.
Judge Susan Webber Wright, who presided over the Paula Jones sexual harassment case against the president before the lawsuit was settled, said Mr Clinton failed to testify honestly despite repeated demands.
Meanwhile, in a major setback for the independent counsel, Mr Kenneth Starr, a Whitewater figure Ms Susan McDougal was found not guilty yesterday of obstruction of justice for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating President Clinton.
