Brian Cody was last night re-appointed manager of the Kilkenny hurlers for a 13th year. His selectors Martin Fogarty and Michael Dempsey were also returned.
Cody has led the county to seven All-Ireland titles and this year came within a match of breaking the GAA record for successive All-Ireland wins when Tipperary prevented Kilkenny from winning a fifth title in a row.
Michael Walsh will continue as the county’s under-21 hurling manager with David Buggy acting as a selector. A third selector may be added later.
The Kilkenny minor team will be managed by Adrian Ronan from the Graigue Ballycallan club. His selectors will be Brother Damien Brennan (John Lockes), Niall Lacey (Dicksboro) and Barry Power (O’Loughlin Gaels).
