England's Six Nations injury crisis worsened today with the news that winger Ben Cohen is struggling with a strained thigh muscle.

Cohen is out of Northampton's semi-final against London Irish on Sunday due to the injury and he is now in a race against time to be fit for the match against Italy at Twickenham on March 9th.

He suffered the strain during England's victory over Wales in Cardiff last weekend, although he played the whole game.

Coach Clive Woodward already has to do without props Phil Vickery, Jason Leonard and Julian White as well as flanker Lewis Moody.
