A second Leonard Cohen concert has been confirmed for Lissadell House in Co Sligo after the first one sold out in six minutes.
There seems to be no diminution in the Irish public’s interest in Cohen despite eight shows in Ireland in the last two years.
Cohen will now play Lissadell House on Sunday August 1st after the first concert on Saturday, July 31st sold out when tickets went on sale last week.
The venue will have a capacity of 10,000 for each show.
The legendary Canadian singer-songwriter came out of a long retirement in 2008 to the delight of fans who believed they would never see him live.
Fans who thought his three shows at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham were a one-off were treated to four sell-out shows in the O2 last year and one in Belfast’s Odyssey.
Tickets for his latest concert on August 1st are now on sale and are priced from €80.
