Hosts Colombia ended the dreams of Honduras on Thursday, recording a 2-0 win over the Central American minnows to secure a place in Sunday's Copa America final against Mexico.
Gerardo Bedoya opened the scoring after just six minutes and Victor Hugo Aristizabal made the game safe with the second after 63 minutes to become overall top scorer with six goals.
Honduras, invited to the tournament when Argentina withdrew amid security fears, had beaten Brazil in the quarters but the semi-final proved a bridge too far against the Colombians, who have yet to concede a single goal in the event.
