THE effect of ozone levels on spring wheat production is among the topics to be discussed at the 1996 Irish Botanists and Zoologists' Meeting to be held in Trinity College, Dublin, today and tomorrow.
Other subjects include the causes of the demise of primeval forests in eastern Poland and population biology among invertebrates. The agenda is so crowded, say the organisers, that there will have to be three concurrent presentation sessions.
Further details can be obtained from Dr Fraser Mitchell of TCD botany department, or Dr Celia Holland of the zoology department.
