Connections of Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe heroine Zarkava are set to meet this weekend to decide on the future of the unbeaten three-year-old.
The Aga Khan-owned filly, winner of the French Guineas and Oaks earlier this season, took her winning tally to seven with a hugely impressive victory against the colts in the most valuable turf race in the world last weekend.
In the immediate aftermath of that triumph, the owner suggested she is unlikely to be seen in action again this year, but his racing manager Georges Rimaud insists no decision has been made on whether she will now be retired .
"No decision has been made on Zarkava yet and we are going to all sit down and talk this weekend," said Rimaud. "I cannot point you in one way or the other as it really is right down the middle at the moment, so we will just have to see.
"I think by the end of the weekend, there will be some kind of release and everyone will know what is planned."
