11 electoral divisions with population 17,307 transfer from Cork South Central. Cork NC remains a four-seat constituency. Commission recognises the transfer breaches the natural boundary of the north channel of the River Lee.

Four electoral divisions with population 5,048 transfer form Cork North Central. Reverses a transfer effected in 2009 and retains Cork North West as a three-seater.

Cork South Central

11 electoral divisions with population 17,307 transfer to Cork North Central. Cork SC loses a seat, becoming a four-seater.

Donegal North East

Commission says Donegal population can no longer sustain two Donegal constituencies with the reduced number of TDs. Nine electoral divisions in south of county with population of 8,779 transfer to Sligo-Leitrim. Rest of Donegal becomes a five-seat constituency.

Dun Laoghaire

Four electoral divisions with population 13,762 transfer from Dublin South to Dun Laoghaire, enabling it to remain a four-seater.

Galway East

Becomes a three-seat constituency from four, after the transfer of a population of 20,521 to a new constituency of Roscommon-Galway.

Galway West

Remains a five-seat constituency, with the addition of some population from Mayo.

Kerry North-West Limerick

Merges with Kerry South and the two become a five-seat constituency of Kerry.

Kerry South

Merges with Kerry North West Limerick and the two become a five-seat constituency of Kerry.

Kildare North

Kildare South

Six electoral divisions with population of 7,186 transfer to the new Laois constituency. Four electoral divisions with population of 4,698 transfer from Kildare North to Kildare South. Remains a three-seater.

Laois-Offaly

Currently a five-seat constituency. Offaly combined with 24 electoral divisions from the north-west of Tipperary form a new three-seat constituency. Laois, combined with six electoral divisions from Kildare South will also form a new three-seat constituency.

Limerick

The Limerick part of Kerry North-West Limerick constituency transfers to Limerick, removing the breach of the county boundary. Remains a three-seater, renamed Limerick County.

Limerick City

Remains a four-seater, with the addition of a population of 11,197 from Limerick.

Longford Westmeath

No change – four seats

Mayo

Nine electoral divisions from Ballinrobe area, with population of 10,306 transfer to Galway West and Mayo loses one of its five seats.

Meath East

Roscommon South Leitrim

Leitrim becomes part of the Sligo-Leitrim constituency. New three-seat constituency of Roscommon-Galway created.

Tipperary North

Tipperary North and South become one five-seat constituency instead of two three-seaters. 24 electoral divisions with population of 10,953 transfer from north west Tipperary to new Offaly constituency.

Tipperary South

Tipperary North and South become one five-seat constituency instead of two three-seaters.

Waterford

Remains a four-seat constituency. Two electoral divisions and parts of two others with a population of 1,597 transfer from the existing Tipperary South constituency, ending the breach of the Waterford county boundary.
